Overview
University of Calcutta invited applications for recruitment to the post for Academic Associates. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through the prescribed format on or before 27 July 2016.
The “University of Calcutta – Calcutta Stock Exchange Centre of Excellence in Financial Markets” (CUCSE-CEFM) has been established with the major objectives of encouraging literacy, awareness and research in the diversified areas of finance. The Centre is presently focusing on the three thrust areas comprising capital market, financial inclusiveness and ethics in financial markets through undertaking research activities, publications and conducting certification and skill development programmes. The centre plans to engage Two Academic Associates for furtherance of the activities of the centre in the fields of financial market.
Accordingly, Two Academic Associates are required for the CUCSE-CEFM under the Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta. The centre is funded by Calcutta Stock Exchange Investor Protection Fund. The tenure of Academic Associates is for a period of three years, extendable only if required.

Eligibility for Academic Associates: The candidate must have secured 60% in M.Com. / M.A or M.Sc. in Economics/ MBA/ MBM or any other relevant post graduate degree with specialisation in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Operations Research from a UGC-recognised University.
