Overview
Punjab Agricultural University invites applications for recruitment to the posts of Research Fellow – Agronomy. Eligible and Interested candidates can send their application in the prescribed format along with required copies of documents on or before June 27, 2017.
Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for one position of Research Fellow @ Rs. 25,000/- p.m. fixed + HRA provided in the scheme entitled “Enhancing Pre and post emergent Herbicide efficacy by spray technologies for weed management in rice wheat production system in Punjab under Private Partnership Mode, Misc-51 (PC- 4569)” on the prescribed Performa obtainable from the office Room no. 112 of this department against the payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of bank draft in favour of Comptroller, PAU Ludhiana.
Essential Qualifications:-
- B.Sc. Agriculture with minimum OGPA 2.00/4.00 or 50% marks.
- M.Sc. in Agronomy with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 or OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
The last date for the receipt of applications duly complete in all respects in this office is 27.06.2017. The incomplete applications unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 03.07.2017 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned and no separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The Research Fellow resigning the Fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
