It is responsible for the development, maintenance and management of National Highways entrusted to it and for matters connected or incidental thereto. The Authority was operationalized in Feb, 1995. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Regional Office, Kolkata invites applications from interested and eligible / experienced candidates for the post of Site Engineer (02 nos) for Regional Office – Kolkata (initially for a period of 2 years) on Short Term Contract basis.

Pay Scale : Rs 50,000/- per month (consolidated) with 10% enhancement each year.

Educational Qualification Required : Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute, Valid Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) Score in Civil Engineering discipline.
Experience Required : Minimum one year experience in Infrastructure / Road sector.
