It is responsible for the development, maintenance and management of National Highways entrusted to it and for matters connected or incidental thereto. The Authority was operationalized in Feb, 1995. NHAI, Regional Officer, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla invites application from interested and eligible/experienced candidates on Short Term Contract for the post of Site Engineer to be posted at Regional Office or Project Offices, under jurisdiction of RO- Himachal Pradesh Shimla.
