Overview
Central University of Jharkhand announced walk-in interview schedule for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor (Temporary). The candidates eligible for the post can come for the walk-in interview on 15 July 2016 and 18 July 2016.
The Central University of Jharkhand came into being under this Act on 1st of March, 2009. The Visitor of the Central University of Jharkhand, Her Excellency, Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil, appointed Dr. Darlando T. Khathing, an internationally renowned scientist and a distinguished academic administrator, as its first Vice Chancellor.
The Central University of Jharkhand is looking for engagement of Assistant Professor (Temporary) at various Centers. The engagement shall be purely temporary in nature. Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) per month. This remuneration is subject to revision in view of the 7th Central Pay Commission implementation.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor (Temporary):
Educational Qualification:
Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the master’s degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
