Educational Qualification Required : 2 years full time regular PG Degree in BM (HR/IR/PMIR/MSW or equivalent Degree) (only AICTE/ UGC/ MHRD/ AITA/UFTAA approved Institutes/ Universities).
Experience Required : Minimum Experience 5 years. The key responsibilities of the incumbent will be:1. Provide HR support to Units under his/ her control in improving their efficiencies and productivity through implementation of processes/ practices that are in alignment to the overall policies of the Company. The incumbent is expected to foster a culture of high achievement orientation and facilitate continuous improvement in employee engagement level. 2. Responsible for Pay and Perquisite administration of Officers, Supervisors and Unionised Cadre for CFS & WD. Responsible for managing industrial relations in CFS & WD. To proactively engage with stakeholders and address issues both within and outside the Company to ensure that the business can operate in a peaceful & harmonious environment. 3. Lead the collective bargaining process in the region, guide the team to ensure that the management charters are framed adequately and the same are represented in a comprehensive manner. It is also expected to oversee effective implementation of the agreements reached/ settlements arrived at. Responsible for managing the external environment proactively, through ensuring compliance to the laws of the land/ extant statutes and proactively build and manage relationships involving key stakeholders in the region. 4. Responsible for effective management of disputes involving unionised cadre. He should work proactively to ensure speedy and amicable resolution of all disputes in bipartite or tripartite forums. However in case need arises he is expected to represent the Company before Quasi-Judicial bodies and/ or appropriate court of law. 5. Help SBU HR with informed and judicious advice on matters related HR/ IR; especially in management of collectives. Facilitate various wage agreements /settlements with unions. 6. Responsible for ensuring compliance to all legal, statutory and govt. directives in the region. Facilitate audit on such matters and oversee implementation of audit suggestions. In pursuance of his task delivery, the incumbent is to ensure adherence/ compliance to extant policies/ rules and the DOA. 7. Responsible for the Estate Management functions, including legal matter, in the CFS & WD- Kolkata. He has to act as a custodian of the assets and estates that the Company has in the Unit. He has to oversee, that the same are maintained properly in a cost effective manner. He should ensure through his team that all records related to the estates are updated, returns/ taxes etc are filed in time and necessary approvals internal or otherwise/ licences related to estates as well business establishments of the Company in the Unit are updated and validated in time. 8. Oversee the administration function in CFS & WD-Kolkata and ensure necessary support services at office/ estates etc. viz. maintenance of utilities and other services such as transport, security and safety management, communication services, canteen and catering services, stationary and other office requirements, protocol services etc. Organizing Milestone events such as foundation day, Safety Week, Productivity Week, Employee Involvement activities like picnic, sports, games etc 9. Overall administration including procurement and contract related to Security, Housekeeping, Gardening, Canteen Facilities, and Transport, Medical Centre and Repair & painting of Office Building. Complete in-house management/procurement and maintenance of office equipment like Air conditioning/fax / EPABX System/ Photocopy machines, Furniture etc. 10. Grievance handling, including domestic enquiry. 11. Allocation of pool car. 12. Any other jobs assgined time to time The above responsibilities mentioned are indicative and not exhaustive.
